Baseball is considered one of the activities that can unite Taiwanese in sport events. Among many outstanding baseball players, there are many indigenous players coming from Hualien and Taitung. With the forming of Care Cup, baseball teams of elementary and junior high school from Hualien and Taitung area no longer need to travel far to participate competitions in the western and northern Taiwan.

The participating teams of the Care Cup are mainly composed by indigenous teenagers. Care Cup names event theme individually for each year, and the theme is based on the spirit of indigenous tribes.

The Care Cup of 2022 has come to the 29th session. The traditional indigenous weaving pattern has blended into the background clouds and mountains to highlight the youngster baseball players’ growing hometown – the lively majestic landscapes.  Choosing the bright blue, green and rose red colors as the main design scheme, manipulating the portion of main and minor colors to present layers of main and subordinate themes, and also to add a little childishness to the main concept. The last session’s “indigenous force” companions, the boars, monkeys, and flying squirrels also join the picture. These vigorous components have accompanied flying baseball to march toward young athletes’ dreams. Also the powerful strength and shining stars have set off forceful pitcher and running batter, bringing a dynamic picture to echo with the event theme – indigenous force.
