第一屆關懷盃是1990年舉行的，來到2023年舉辦第三十屆，這些年來給許多花東熱愛棒球的原住民小朋友一個揮灑熱血、追逐夢想的舞台，如今許多參與過關懷盃的小球員已是中華職棒優秀球員。人常言：「三十而立」，30不只是一個數字，更是進入成熟的訊號，為此將活動主題設定為魯凱族語的Lrigu「榮耀時刻」，期盼關懷盃能陪伴更多熱愛棒球的幼苗茁壯，協會也自我期許持續深耕關懷基層棒球，讓參與過關懷盃的每位球員都深感光榮。
為此，設計標誌結合原民文化中象徵榮耀的羽毛與頭冠花圈等物件圖像化，融合魯凱族族花「百合」，組合成徽章圖騰，色彩規劃使用暖橘色為基調，搭配亮黃色、紅色高彩度顏色展開，融入飛魚、山豬、貓頭鷹等動物夥伴，以及音符、加油棒等圖形象徵活動舉辦時的活力熱情氛圍，透過對稱組合，造出如嘉年華般繽紛感，用視覺傳達出關懷盃特有的「快樂打球」訴求。
The first Care Cup was held in 1990, and by 2023, it reached its 30th anniversary. Over the years, this event has provided a stage for indigenous children from the Hualien and Taitung regions, who are passionate about baseball, to display their talent and chase their dreams. Today, many former Care Cup participants have become outstanding players in the Chinese Professional Baseball League. There’s a saying, “At thirty, one stands firm.” Thirty is not just a number; it represents a milestone of maturity. To signify this, the event’s theme has been named “Lrigu,” meaning “Moment of Glory” in the Rukai language, hoping that the Care Cup will continue to nurture young baseball enthusiasts and that the association will keep fostering grassroots baseball with pride.
For this reason, the logo design incorporates symbols of honor from indigenous cultures, such as feathers and floral crowns, and is visualized alongside the Rukai tribe’s tribal flower, the lily, to form a badge-like emblem. The color scheme is based on warm orange, complemented by bright yellow and high-saturation red, embodying the vibrant, passionate atmosphere of the event. Animals like flying fish, wild boars, and owls, along with musical notes and cheering sticks, are integrated to symbolize the lively and enthusiastic spirit of the occasion. The symmetrical composition creates a carnival-like sense of joy and visually conveys the unique appeal of the Care Cup: Enjoying Playing Baseball.
