Qigu District in Tainan is close to the sea. It is home to the national treasure black-faced spoonbill and other conserved birds, as well as the history of the salt fields development in Taiwan. In recent years, road running has become popular, and the scenery along the route has become one of the focuses that attracted runners to participate. Local government used this chance to held marathon events to promote Qigu’s unique ecology landscapes and historical sites.

The image design of the event takes styling elements of Qigu ecology and environment. It also combined many characteristics such as emphasizing special experience of the event — running on the national roads only for cars.
