The name of Sheng Xiang Yuan means the origin of many fragrances. It is a brand of aromatherapy products in Taiwan. This brand is founded by a farmer from Taimali, Taitung. He chose to plant lavender, tea trees, rosemary, mint and other herb plants in the mountain side that can face the Pacific breeze. After harvesting, the pure essence and main oils are collected and extracted, then the founder use them as raw materials to make essential oil soaps and body lotions. Throughout the process, only minimal and necessary additives are added.

Due to the brand is deeply influenced by the spirit of Eastern Taoism, so the symbol is mainly composed with calligraphy characters bestowed by a famous master. Other elements such as Tai Chi diagrams, plant patterns, and lines that repel water and oil are also added.
